[[for a while now, i’ve looked back on replies i made when i first started this blog, and have violently cringed at how bad they are- both artistically and in regards to her character, which has grown and evolved quite a lot since i first doodled her in the margins of my school notes.

but whenever i suggested the idea of deleting these posts, i was met with heavy resistance from friends and family who insisted that i keep them as a sign of how much i’ve improved since then.

well, i finally came up with a compromise- the posts will indeed remain on the interwebs for anyone interested in seeing my “progress”, just not on this blog. instead, i’ve reblogged them to the account linked above, and deleted the original posts on this blog. and if anyone wants to know the new answers to any questions that have been moved, they are more than welcome to re-ask.

on a slightly unrelated note, there’s going to be some minor changes made in regards to disciple’s design/ quirk/etc. i’m not going to bother going through and modifying her typing quirk or adding her scars and the like, just know that these things will be a bit different from the early replies. thank you so much for your patience! <333

the drawing on the left is from September 25, 2012. it’s the first drawing i ever did for askthedevoteddisciple, and i deleted the post right away because even then i knew it was atrocious.

and as for the drawing on the right, it’s from today, February 24, 2013, and it’s the most recent drawing on ATDD.

i wonder how much improvement another five months will bring C:
